I've also attached a photo of Freya in her helmet that she was fitted for on Friday. The helmet became necessary following a couple of not-so clever incidents where she thought she could stand by herself. As both incidents occured during the night, she must wear the helmet during the night and anytime she is not supervised. The helmet will protect her fragile skull and brain from any potential fall during this critical recovery period. As you can see by the expression on her face, she is rethinking the wisdom of her nocturnal hijinks.

ReplyDeleteTerrific that you could get out for awhile and have pizza, yum yum I know how you love pizza. It would have been lovely to be out in the sun after so long. Don't try any more getting out of bed while nobody is aware of what you are doing. Keep up the good work you are doing great.

Geez, I can tell by the expression on your face Frey that you don't like that helmet one little bit, but you do look very cute in it! You and Blue Ted look like a couple of prize fighters who copped some sneaky blows on your way to a resounding victory. Good on you champ! Keep up the good work, but only while someone's watch OK.

Freya, I am so thrilled to see how good you are looking. It is fabulous to see you enjoying the sunshine and a big mouthful of pizza.
ReplyDeleteAaron has been wearing a helmet for twelve months now. His is just as beautiful (not) as yours but hopefully once your skull repairs and you get your balance back you will not have to wear yours longterm.
